Our story

Every story has a beginning. Ours started in 2009.

2009 • The beginning

A worker at an apiary

That year I started working at an apiary. It was hard work, exhausting, with long hours outdoors and challenges only a beekeeper can understand.

Still, every day taught me something new and made me love the world of bees even more.

Someone gave me six empty hives, without bees. To many people that would mean nothing. To me it was an opportunity.

The name our daughter gave us

I filled the hives with bees, cared for them wholeheartedly, and that is how our small beekeeping family was born. Year after year, with hard work, patience and sacrifice, the number of hives grew. Every season was a test, but also a lesson.

Nothing came easy. Every jar of honey that reached our customers was the result of thousands of kilometers, countless hours of work, and love for what we do.

In 2015, when we saw our honey was earning people's trust, we decided to give it a name too. That year our daughter Claire was born. We couldn't imagine a more beautiful name than hers. That is how Claire's Honey was born.

This name isn't just a brand. It's part of our family. It's why every day we strive to make honey and products we would give our own children without a second thought.

The decision

All the time, all the experience

After more than ten years of experience, I made the most important decision of my professional life: to leave employed work and devote myself fully to our family apiary. For five years now I have worked exclusively with our bees.

We're based in Greece, but beekeeping isn't a profession you can do by staying in one place. To produce every kind of honey, the hives must travel hundreds of kilometers, at the right time and in the right place. Only this way does nature give us orange, thyme, pine, fir, chestnut and oak honey — each with its own aroma, taste and character.

The work doesn't stop at honey

With the same care we produce fresh pollen, harvest royal jelly, prepare propolis tincture and other bee products, always respecting nature and quality.

And when the bees rest

When winter comes and the bees rest, we change our pace too. During November, December and January we tend to our olive groves and produce extra virgin olive oil, following the same philosophy as in beekeeping: quality without compromise.

Our goal is simple: to bring high-quality honey and bee products to your table, direct from the producer, with no middlemen. We believe trust is earned through actions, not words.

Our philosophy
We don't sell anything we wouldn't give our own children to eat.
